You Live Life to the Fullest – Help Others do the Same.

Join The Organ Project in assisting people on the waitlist in their search for a living donor, raising awareness and driving donor registration.

Vharay Tompkins Elliott is 34 years old and in urgent need of a liver transplant.

A dancer and dance instructor by profession, Vharay fell ill in the summer of 2016 and, after a lengthy period of testing, was ultimately diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis in the fall of 2016. Although doctors originally thought Vharay would recover, her condition continued to deteriorate and she was added to the transplant wait list in July of 2017. Vharay is very ill, she has lost over 30 lbs and struggles daily with nausea and fatigue.
If you would like to help Vharay, please contact the Living Donor’s Office at Toronto General Hospital 416-340-4800 x 5681. For more information on Living Donation, or to fill out the application, please visit:
The Multi-Organ Transplant Program (MOT) at the University Health Network (UHN) is the largest and most comprehensive transplant program in Canada and is the largest living donor liver program in North America. Thank you on behalf of Vharay’s husband Ian, her mother Lindy and father Eric, her brother Thomas and her sister Julia.
